Homosexuals have a hay day across the USA.  Gay PRIDE?

Parades across the land give Sodomites yet more credibility in what used to be a Christian nation.  Gone is the Bible foundation that anchored our national morals for so many decades.  Gone is the sense of right and wrong.  Gone is the shame of sin, and in its place is an arrogance and pride, rivaled only by Sodom, itself.  How Brazen.  Unabashed.  Calloused.

Sodom was punished for its promiscuity, and so will any nation that forgets God.  Gay PRIDE?  We ought to hang our heads in shame and fly the flag at half-mast.  God have mercy

Chase Andrus was a real hit with the young and old.  The emotions of the hour went from extreme joy to daubing tears often.  Chase’s personal testimony of the leading and calling of the Lord upon his life will change your life.  Honestly.

He told of the personal struggles he encountered in overcoming his parents’ divorce when he was very young.  His unwillingness to surrender his life to Christ was epic.  Oh, how we struggle.  But, oh, how sweet is surrender! 

We may have some video clips coming, as soon as we can aquire them.  Any skate-boarders out there?  You need to see this.  Stay tuned to idaniel.  I will be posting Chase’s summer activities of the evangelistic team he has joined that will be preaching and ministering to America’s youth this summer.  Chase will be going back to Bible College in September, so please pray for him.

Tomorrow morning, we have invited a 20 year old skate-boarding preacher from Gorton Connecticut to be our special speaker.  

Chase Andres has now spent 2 years in Bible College at Hyles-Anderson in Crown Point, Indiana, preparing for the ministry.  He had spent so much time with his skate-board as a young man, that he actually felt like God wanted him to give up skate-boarding in September 2008.  He got rid of his board, and spent this past year in hard-working, humble service for the Lord.  However, he has just been offered a job for the summer with “20-20 Vision”, a youth outreach ministry based out of Eric Cappici’s church in Hot Springs Arkansas.  Chase will spend the rest of the summer skate-boarding for Jesus and preaching and witnessing for the Lord.  We will try to get some photos up on the blog in a couple days. 

You know, when we put our pleasures and our likes in front of our love for Jesus, we have made ourselves an idol.  God does not want us to have anything between us and him.  Just like when Abraham was told to offer up his son, Isaac, to the Lord for a burnt offering, God often asks us to give up things that we love very dearly.  Why?  It is an opportunity to prove our love for him.  It is a chance to show the world that Jesus has first place in our life.  Is it any easy thing to do?  I doubt it.  It will probably be the hardest thing you will ever do in your life.  But God will bless you and open up so many doors of opportunity for you when you are willing to give up things for Him.
