A Church?

Rock music?  Spandex and leotards with wispy silk scarfs hopping around on the platform?

What kind of CHURCH is this?  This isn’t you grandpa’s church!!!  And it isn’t God’s church, either.

Women preachers?  Dancing?  Rock concert effects?  Unbelievable.  Not In a house of God!

If it was God’s house, Jesus would have come through with that scourge of his just like he did when he cleansed the Temple in the first century.

“If my people, which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray,”  is still in the Bible.

And by the way, the rest of the Bible is still in the Bible.  None of it has changed.  None of it.

So, why have all the churches changed?  Well, like one old lady said to me at her front door the other day, “Anything new is not true, and anything true is not new.”  What’s going on in the modern churches is nothing short of scandelous.

An elderly deacon said to the new members class, “If you are joining this church with an aganda, hoping to change the church, our message, and our methods, just keep on moving down the street.”

The real danger is when the preachers and the deacons conclude that they must change the beliefs, standards, practices, and music, just to “get the young people.”

Come on.  What does that say to the young people, and the community?  “You can be bought.  You are up for sale.  The highest bidder can tell you what to preach and what to believe.”

God have mercy.

The problem with the world is not nearly as bad as the problem with the churches.  Instead of the church going into all the world and preaching the Gospel and changing people, now we have the world going into all the churches, changing them to please the people.  What is going on here?

It is very obvious what is going on.  The dirty devil knows he has but a little time, and he is doing all he can to attack the house of God, and to destroy Christians’ lives.  He is blurring the lines of separation.  He is trying to keep saved people living like unsaved people.  This “Bring the world into all the churches” garbage is not an “End-time revival”.  Ha.  It is the enemy’s last gasping attempt to mock God and the Bible.  Look at them.  Shameful.  Disgraceful.  There is nothing holy or godly about them.

Why didn’t the Christians of the first century think of this?  Why didn’t the believers of the past two thousand years do this?  Why has it just now become so popular?  We are in the end-time.  That’s why.

Besides, previous generations of Christians were Bible-believing.  This new modern crowd does NOT want to hear what the Bible says.  They actually do not want doctrine.  They avoid doctrine, like the plague.  If anything sounds like doctrine or preaching, or truth, or “do this, don’t do that” they reject it carte Blanche.

What we are dealing with here is a bunch of “I want it my way, or I’m hitting the Highway” people.  They have never been told that what they are doing is wrong.  They have not bowed the knee to king Jesus.  The very thought of submitting to the Lord is beneath them.

They have been in the world too long.  They have bought into all the lies of the devil.  They watch too much television.  If they don’t like the programming, they just change the channel.  As the “customer” they are used to being pandered to.  They will just take their business elsewhere, if they don’t get what they want.

Well, guess what?  God is not impressed with these selfish, self-centered, spoiled brat “Christians.”  They couldn’t hold a candle to the saints of yesteryear.  Those who have gone before us took a stand for Jesus.  It cost them something to be a believer.  They were not ashamed of the Gospel.  They lost property, fame, fortune, and sometimes, even life, for their love of Jesus and the Bible.

It is time for true believers to come out of these “false churches“.  It is time to come clean for Jesus.  Call sin sin.  Call right right.  Our relatives and friends may not understand why we do it, but “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Find a good, fundamental, Bible-believing Baptist church that goes out witnessing in the community.  Get involved in a church that takes a stand against worldliness and sin.  Don’t be deceived.  God still has His churches around.  They may not be the largest and the fanciest.  They may not have all the money.  They may seem to be a little old-fashioned and their people may dress less worldly.  But that is what you are looking for.  You will know it when you find it.

They won’t have a drum set in the center of the stage.  They won’t allow the musicians to play rock music.  They will take a stand against modern immoral women’s dress.  They will expect new Christians to take a stand for Christ along with them.  The pastor will be a man.  A real man.  Not a politician.  Not a puppet.  He won’t have a “For sale” sign hanging around his neck.

You will be glad you jumped in there when we all get to Heaven.
